Anaïs Lopez took over Almaje from her mother, who founded the business in 1999 with a vision to make language learning engaging, practical, and immersive.
Based in Melbourne, Anaïs leads a dedicated team of native and highly qualified tutors, specialising in VCE French tutoring for high school students. Her mission is to help Melbourne students excel in the VCE French curriculum, boost exam confidence, and achieve outstanding results.
Under Anaïs’ leadership, Almaje offers personalised 1:1 and group tutoring, flexible online lessons, and intensive exam preparation tailored to the needs of Melbourne-based students. With a deep passion for teaching French, Anaïs ensures that every lesson goes beyond memorising vocabulary, helping students gain real-world fluency, cultural understanding, and a strong foundation for VCE success.
While Anaïs does not personally tutor, she works closely with her team to ensure lessons align with the Victorian Certificate of Education standards and the needs of Melbourne’s school community. This focus on both academic excellence and cultural enrichment has helped numerous local students achieve top VCE study scores.
